Designed by Wesley Walters and Salla Luhtasela, also known as duo Kaksikko, the Akademia High Counter Chair from Nikari is designed for kitchen islands, home bars, and counter-height tables where comfort at extended sitting is rarely a given. The same minimal vertical lines and thinly curved plywood seat and backrest that define the Akademia Collection are present here, along with the same cultural DNA: Finnish chair-making heritage, Japanese design traditions, and the quiet honesty of Shaker style.
