From custom skate parks to the modern lollygagger.

Loll's history dates back to 1997 with the creation of TrueRide, a design and build contractor specializing in custom municipal skate parks. The TrueRide crew designed, built, installed, and serviced more than 400 custom skateboard parks across the nation and abroad over a ten-year period.

In 2007, TrueRide was sold to a longtime friend and competitor in the skate park business. That freed the team to focus fully on Loll Designs: durable, all-weather outdoor furniture made with recycled HDPE. Every piece is proudly crafted in Duluth, Minnesota, by more than 100 hardworking craftspeople.

Furniture born from milk jugs.

All Loll outdoor furniture is made with recycled high-density polyethylene (HDPE), sourced primarily from single-use milk jug containers. Colored material, which makes up the majority of Loll's products, is post-consumer recycled HDPE, while the black material is post-industrial recycled HDPE.

Loll's material is nonporous and colored all the way through with pigments added during the extruding process, so color is never just a surface application. A UV package added with the pigment helps reduce fading from the sun over time.

Built to be maintenance-free.

Loll furniture will not rot and requires no paint, stain, or ongoing maintenance to keep its appearance. Designed to weather all four seasons, it can be left outdoors year round with only a little care along the way.

General Maintenance

Occasionally inspect fastening hardware, as daily expansion and contraction from heating and cooling can loosen bolts over time.

Furniture Cleaning

A simple hose-off usually does the trick; for embedded dirt, use mild soap, water, and a stiff but gentle-bristled brush.

Cushion Care

Sunbrella fabric is stain, mildew, and fade resistant; spot clean with mild soap and water, and cover or store during heavy storms.

Seasonal Storage

Not required. Durable HDPE can be left out year round; only heavy accumulations of snow call for a quick shovel-off.
