Akademia High Bar Chair

Designed by Wesley Walters and Salla Luhtasela, also known as duo Kaksikko, the Akademia High Bar Chair from Nikari brings the same cultural confluence that defines the Akademia Collection to bar-height seating. The design draws from Finnish chair-making heritage, Japanese design traditions, and the honest simplicity of Shaker style. The minimal vertical lines of the frame are complemented by the thinly curved plywood of the seat and backrest, crafted from sustainably grown oak or ash.
