The Swan™ Lounge Chair from Fritz Hansen emerged from one of Arne Jacobsen's most complete visions of modern design: the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen. Designed in 1958 for its lobby and lounge spaces, the chair abandons straight lines entirely, allowing the shell to sweep from the seat into its curved back and embracing arms in one continuous gesture. The result feels almost weightless despite its architectural presence, with a sculptural silhouette that remains unmistakable from every angle.
