Eldvarm steel is powder-coated with paint from the company AkzoNobel, whose history started with Bofors forge in Sweden in 1646. The coating used is free of harmful substances for minimal environmental impact. All screws and details are made of brass, both for the elegance they add and also as a nod to traditional fireplace accessories, which were often made of solid brass.
