Circle Chair

The Circle Chair was conceived from the idea of creating a chair based on the most simple and elegant shape, the circle. Once a distant dream, the design became reality by Hans J. Wegner at the age of seventy-two. The development of the lamination  technique allows for thin pieces of wood to be carefully bent and  glued together to form the circle of this visionary design. Although this design posed great challenges to PP Møbler at its inception, it has since become a flagship chair and one of Wenger's most characteristic pieces.
