Carte Blanche Candleholder

What begins as a simple fold in cardboard becomes something wonderfully expressive in the Carte Blanche Candleholder. Designed by Annebet Philips for Serax, each porcelain piece preserves the spontaneous character of its original paper prototype, from the slightly uneven edges to the angular surfaces that appear almost sketched into existence. Hand-painted black contours trace the folds against a white porcelain backdrop, giving the candleholder its distinctive, almost illustrated quality. Available in three heights, the collection invites playful arrangements of varying proportions, turning a few simple candles into a sculptural composition full of personality.
