Akustik Armchair

The Akustik Armchair brings acoustic performance into Åke Axelsson's characteristically restrained approach to wooden seating. Hidden beneath the seat, a 1.57-inch layer of sound-absorbing felt helps soften ambient noise without changing the chair's clean, familiar appearance. The solid wood frame is paired with shaped veneer at the seat and back, which can also be upholstered in a fabric or leather of your choice. Designed with shared spaces in mind, this chair can be hung from a tabletop by its armrests, stacked up to twelve chairs on a trolley, and specified with a linking frame for larger arrangements.
