Stayed Table

The Stayed Table from designer Hans J. Wegner was created to provide ample space for a person's legs and knees when seated at the dining table. To accomplish this, Wegner relied on geometric theory to create a beautiful dining table with legs joined in the center that are supported by steel stays. The durability of the table's construction allows the table to be extended for a wooden leaf, maximizing the design's functionality.
