Round Chair

Designed by Hans J. Wegner, the Round Chair is one of the most famous Danish pieces of furniture. Modest and simple, this chair demonstrates the essence of traditional Danish woodworking and design. The armrests of this chair consists of three pieces that have been carved out of solid wood from a shelter tree approximately 200 years old. The wood is then conditioned for one to two years, depending on the tree, in a very delicate and intentional way.
