Inspired by the Japanese tradition of Shou Sugi Ban, its solid oak doors are burned to deepen the wood's texture and bring out a dark, expressive surface with an almost charred quality. The treatment gives this cabinet its bold, brutalist presence, softened by the natural grain of oak and the quiet asymmetry of its offset doors.
