Patience never looked so refined. The Vent Stool by Fritz Hansen takes its name from the Danish word for wait, originally conceived as seating for quietly contemplating art in museums. The result is a minimalist stool that feels intentional, calm, and quietly sophisticated. Designed by Chris Liljenberg Halstrøm, this stool balances delicate structure with tactile warmth. The slender steel frame creates a clean architectural outline, while the handwoven paper cord seat introduces texture and softness. This thoughtful contrast gives the stool its modern Scandinavian edge. Handmade in collaboration with a local workshop for the blind and sight impaired, this piece carries a deeper layer of craftsmanship and social responsibility. Every weave reflects precision and care. The stool is equally suited for contemporary dining spaces, entryways, creative studios, or as a refined accent piece in minimalist interiors.
