Designed by Jens Risom, the Risom Lounge Armchair was one of the first pieces concieved and manufactured by Knoll. Constructed from simple maple frames, the construction of the lounge chair from the use of discarded parachute webbing was Risom's innovative way to create beautiful designs during wartime material restrictions.
