Designed by Verner Panton in 1971, the Panthella Originals Portable Lamp's softly domed shade and trumpet-shaped base create a continuous, sculptural form in which every curve plays a part in reflecting the light. With translucent opal shades in five archival-inspired colors that lend a nostalgic warmth to the modern interior, this lamp moves effortlessly between a bedside table, bookshelf, and evening gathering, carrying a little piece of Danish design history wherever it goes. Light passes gently through the shade while reflecting downward along the stem, creating an inviting, glare-free glow.
