The Oxford™ Office Chair from Fritz Hansen began not in a corporate tower, but among the professors of St. Catherine's College at the University of Oxford. Arne Jacobsen originally designed the chair as part of his complete vision for the college, giving the academic interior a seat as architectural as its surroundings. Reimagined by Fritz Hansen for contemporary work, its slender upholstered form now conceals greater comfort and lumbar support while preserving the clarity of Jacobsen's original silhouette. Low- and medium-back versions can be paired with four- or five-star bases, armrests, castors, fixed or adjustable seat heights, and an optional tilt mechanism, allowing this modern classic to be configured around the way you work.
