Floral Pendant
David Trubridge
The Nikau Pendant by David Trubridge draws inspiration from New Zealand’s only indigenous palm tree, the Nīkau, known for its elegant, slender form and clean lines. Unlike the coconut palm, the Nīkau tree is distinguished by its graceful, smooth silhouette, making it the perfect muse for a light that’s both minimalist and sculptural. Traditionally, the fronds of the Nīkau palm were used by Māori for thatching and weaving, and this connection to craftsmanship and nature is beautifully echoed in the design of this pendant. Crafted from eco-friendly materials, this pendant captures the palm's slender, vertical lines, creating a piece that feels modern yet deeply rooted in the natural world. Its clean, streamlined design is ideal for bringing a touch of organic elegance to a variety of spaces, from dining areas and living rooms to foyers and office environments. The light it emits is soft yet striking, casting a warm, ambient glow that enhances any interior.
Please note, this is available with a colored interior or exterior. Upon selection, the color that is named first will be the exterior while the color that is named second will be the interior. The bamboo, black, and white options have a matching interior and exterior.
