Mixing Eastern and Western aesthetics, Nakashima’s work defies typical categorization. He is one of the most recognized and celebrated craftsmen of the 20th century, known primarily for his handmade furniture and sustainable materials.

Top is constructed of solid Douglas Fir lumber that is quarter-cut and finished in a clear, low sheen finish. Edge is available in solid Brazilian Santos or solid Wenge. Edges are joined with mortise and tenon joints.
