The Model 238-1 Wall Lamp is a refined interpretation of Gino Sarfatti's celebrated Le Sfere collection. Originally designed in 1959 and reintroduced by Astep in 2018, the fixture pairs a luminous handblown opaline glass sphere with a painted steel ring that cradles the diffuser with remarkable simplicity. A subtle opening in the ring allows the globe to be positioned facing either upward or downward, creating either indirect ambient light or focused direct illumination. Featuring a larger sphere than its companion, this lamp offers a bold yet understated presence for hallways, bedrooms, living spaces, and hospitality interiors.
