The Model 237-1 Wall Lamp showcases Gino Sarfatti's remarkable ability to transform a simple geometric form into an elegant lighting solution. Originally designed in 1959 and reintroduced by Astep, the design pairs a handblown opaline glass globe with a slender painted steel ring that cradles the diffuser with effortless precision. A subtle opening in the ring allows the globe to be mounted facing upward or downward, giving the fixture the flexibility to provide either soft indirect illumination or focused direct light. Minimal yet expressive, this lamp brings timeless Italian design to hallways, bedrooms, living spaces, and hospitality interiors alike.
