Vitra's Grand Sofà turns generous comfort into something unexpectedly light. Designed by Antonio Citterio, its broad, low landscape is shaped by a slender upholstered body that folds from seat to back and continues into a ledge behind, all seemingly suspended above the floor on an architectural aluminum frame. Deep cushions soften that precise geometry, inviting you to sit, recline, and settle in however the moment calls for it. Even the space behind the backrest becomes part of the design, offering a place for books, objects, or a laptop. With multiple sofa sizes, a chaise longue, ottoman, and an extensive choice of cushions and upholstery, this sofa can feel beautifully composed or wonderfully relaxed.
