Field Rug

The Field Rug fromArmadillo lets the natural variation of wool become the pattern. Woven from undyed European wool, yarns in subtly different tones alternate across the surface to form stripes that shift gently rather than follow a rigid rhythm. A traditional soumac weave gives the rug a tactile, substantial character, while the absence of dye keeps the palette grounded in the inherent color of the fiber. The effect is understated but far from uniform, with small variations in tone bringing depth and movement to an otherwise simple design.
