Ebb Drop Pendant

Inspired by the delicate play of light on water ripples David Trubridge observed during his travels, the Ebb Drop Pendant captures the fluidity and beauty of nature in a sculptural lighting form. This pendant embodies a graceful arc, thoughtfully designed to create a glowing lantern effect. With its elegant, downward shape, this pendant is the perfect example of how nature can inspire design that is both organic and contemporary. Originally crafted from plastic and wood, this pendant was redesigned in 2015 as a flat-packed kitset, reducing the carbon footprint associated with shipping. By 2020, the entire collection was re-imagined in ultra-thin Finnish birch plywood, a sustainable material that not only enhances the light's glow but also highlights the natural grain of the wood. The result is a pendant that not only provides a warm, inviting atmosphere but also offers a subtle, eco-friendly touch to any space.
