Herman Miller's Noguchi Table transforms a few simple materials into one of modern design's most recognizable sculptural forms. Designed by Isamu Noguchi in 1948, the table pairs a thick, organically shaped glass top with two interlocking solid wood elements that pivot to form a self-supporting base. The composition changes depending on the viewing angle, reflecting Noguchi's background as a sculptor while remaining durable enough for everyday use. Available in a selection of wood finishes, each authentic table is etched with the designer's signature on both the edge of the glass and the base.
