Bean Sofa

The Bean Sofa combines a fluid, organic silhouette with the adaptable comfort that defines Eilersen. Designed by Nils Juul Eilersen, its curved seat and softly rounded transitions create a playful form that feels equally suited to residential living spaces, hotel lounges, and open-plan interiors. Removable down-top backrests can be repositioned across the generous seating surface, allowing the sofa to shift naturally between upright seating, informal gatherings, and relaxed lounging. This piece is available as a freestanding sofa or as a section-based configuration with center, closing, and chaise lounge modules. Used on its own, the sofa has a lively, sculptural character. Expanded with additional sections, it takes on a longer and more composed expression. A fixed cover is standard, with a removable cover and leg-heightening kits available as custom options.
