VP17 Wire Coffee Table

Based on an original 1981 concept by Verner Panton, the VP17 Wire Coffee Table translates his distinctive approach to structure into a low, open form with an almost weightless presence. Bent steel wire creates the table's sculptural framework, with the repeating lines forming both its surface and support in one continuous visual expression. Its height was considered in relation to contemporary sofa seating, allowing the table to sit naturally within a lounge setting. Mirror polishing gives the steel its reflective finish without the addition of a surface treatment, keeping the design focused entirely on material and geometry.
