Designed by Jens Juul Eilersen in 1998, the Lift Sofa by Eilersen challenges the idea that comfort should remain fixed. Hidden within its understated silhouette, an ingenious lifting mechanism allows each backrest to rise independently, offering an additional 5.1" of height for head and neck support before gliding effortlessly back into a relaxed lounging position. Its tailored proportions conceal a remarkable degree of freedom, from the softness of its down-filled cushions to the arrangement of its modular sections. With four distinct cushioning combinations, an extensive upholstery collection, and a selection of leg finishes, this sofa is less a prescribed piece of furniture than an invitation to make comfort entirely your own.

01Fabric

02Size
The Lift is a single-element sofa - each configuration is one piece. Choose the width that suits your room. All sizes share the same 35.5" depth, 17" seat height, and 23.5" arm height.
03Legs
Choose the type of legs you want to support your sofa. All options are in stainless steel unless noted.

04Optional Cushions
Optional extra cushions can be added to your Lift for more comfort, support, or styling flexibility. These are add-on cushions for the sofa, not a required seat cushion selection.

Foam Cushion
A firmer accessory cushion with a highly elastic polyurethane foam core wrapped in 600g pre-compressed fibre-fill. Best for extra support, structure, and a cleaner look.
Optional Add-on
Down-Top Cushion
A softer accessory cushion with a foam core wrapped in 100% down and small duck feathers in a ribbed featherproof cambric casing. Best for a more relaxed, lived-in feel.
05Optional Footstool
A matching footstool is optional, but it can extend the lounging experience or create a more relaxed sectional feel. Choose from two sizes, with or without an added foam cushion, upholstered to coordinate with your Lift.
