Elogio Sofa

The Elogio Sofa has the rare ability to feel both monumental and deeply inviting. Designed by Tobia and Afra Scarpa in 1974, its broad geometric volumes create a strong architectural rhythm, softened by generous cushioning and upholstery that wraps continuously around the form. More than five decades later, Tobia Scarpa revisited the design with Gubi, refining its proportions and comfort while preserving the modular thinking that made the original so progressive. Interchangeable cushions can be reoriented as the way you lounge changes, while a choice of three- or four-seat proportions allows this sofa to command spaces of different sizes without losing its unmistakable presence.
