The CH24 Color Wishbone Chair by Carl Hansen brings renewed energy to one of the most celebrated chairs in Danish design history. Originally created by Hans J. Wegner in 1949, the CH24 Wishbone Chair remains a masterclass in form, craftsmanship, and comfort. This special color edition introduces a fresh palette of contemporary hues while preserving every detail that has made the chair a design icon for generations. Recognized by its distinctive Y-shaped backrest, this chair was Wegner's innovative solution for combining exceptional support with visual lightness. The steam-bent top rail forms both the backrest and armrest in a single flowing gesture, while the handwoven paper cord seat introduces warmth, texture, and remarkable durability. Elegant from every angle, the chair effortlessly bridges traditional craftsmanship and modern living.
