Arte Lounge Chair

There is an ease to the Arte Lounge Chair from Nikari that belies its compact proportions. Designed by master cabinetmaker Rudi Merz, its slender ash frame creates a light, open silhouette while offering the comfort and durability of a chair intended to be lived with for years. Merz imagined this chair as a place to truly settle in, inviting its owner to layer the upholstered seat with as many pillows as comfort calls for. A series born from one-of-a-kind cultural and architectural projects, the chair carries that same sense of considered craftsmanship into the everyday.
