LT8 Floor Lamp

The LT8 Floor Lamp by Astep revives one of Osvaldo Borsani’s most radical experiments in architectural lighting. First presented at the 1954 Milan Triennale, the design rises from slender brass feet into a vertical aluminum structure that can be extended, rotated, and aimed toward the wall. Its presence changes with the room. Used alone, this lamp reads like a luminous sculpture. Arranged in pairs, it creates a broader field of reflected light. Astep’s reissue replaces the original fluorescent tubes with a dimmable integrated LED while preserving the lamp’s unusual flexibility and distinctly modernist character.
