Presented at the 1949 Cabinetmakers’ Guild’s Autumn Exhibition, the Folding Chair's basic lines pay homage to the Barcelona® Chair from the renowned Bauhaus architect Mies van der Rohe. Differing from Rohe's design, this chair features a folding mechanism and has been crafted entirely from natural materials. The wood hand-rests offer an aesthetic deviation, balancing out the cane work for an interesting visual expression.
