The Model 2050 Pendant reflects Franco Albini and Franca Helg's belief that innovation begins with thoughtful materials. Originally designed in 1963 and reissued by Astep, the pendant pairs a luminous handblown opaline glass diffuser with an outer shade crafted from Green Cast®, a patented Italian methacrylate made from 100% recycled and recyclable material. Its softly brushed finish preserves the understated elegance of the original while introducing a more environmentally conscious approach to production. Suspended from a refined steel structure, the layered construction produces a warm, evenly diffused glow that feels equally at home above dining tables, in living spaces, or within hospitality interiors.
