So when automobiles became the preferred mode of transportation, he adapted his coach-building technique to build bodies for cars and buses. In 1934 his factory burned to the ground. Adapting once again to new circumstances, Niels Eilersen decided to start producing high-quality upholstered furniture.The Danish company has built upon the innovations of its founder and is constantly improving production techniques with new technology.
