Mission Sofa

The Mission Sofa is the result of a genuine cross-cultural collaboration — a piece that is both rooted in Danish craftsmanship and shaped by Japanese simplicity. Designed by Yuzuru Nishiyama in partnership with Jens Juul Eilersen and the Eilersen team, it is a modern interpretation of the classic London sofa, with upholstered sides rising to the same height as the back. Clean lines that enhance function rather than interrupt it, slender legs, and an eye for detail give the sofa a sense of lightness. A slightly lighter expression than Eilersen's better-known models, this sofa is conceived for spaces where simplicity and harmony are the guiding principles. Its slim body makes it easy to place, particularly in urban homes where space is considered. Loose back and seat cushions ensure optimum comfort whether sitting, reclining, or in conversation. The design's refined styling supports a wide range of upholstery options — from smooth to coarsely woven textiles, in both classic and contemporary colorways — allowing for a genuinely personal result.
