Providing storage solutions since 1982, family-owned Montana Furniture focuses on providing personalized, environmentally-friendly storage solutions. Established by Peter J. Lassen, this Danish furniture company lives by the philosophy that everyone should have the freedom to fulfill the natural desire to create their own personal space.Developed closely with award-winning Danish designer Margrethe Odgaard, Montana's flexible storage solution is featured in forty-two colors. Complex and poetic, the colors at Montana are deeply important to the company's sense of identity. Since 2007, Montana has exclusively used water-based lacquer colors that do not contain solvents that are harmful to the environment. Today the company is run by Peter Lassen's son Joakim Lassen, who is the fifth generation of his family to work with furniture and is the great-grandson of manufacturer Fritz Hansen. Meticulously crafted to last a lifetime, Montana modules are designed, developed, and manufactured in the small village of Funen in Denmark.
