Trade Status: Membership is reserved for interior designers, architects, and developers. A valid Business License and Resale Certificate are required for tax exempt status.

Governing Terms: By placing a Trade order, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to the Lekker Home General Terms & Conditions, including the Mandatory Arbitration and Class Action Waiver clauses.

Trade Pricing: Trade pricing is applied as Designer Net pricing. Trade pricing cannot be combined with retail promotions unless otherwise noted.

Quote Validity: Quotes are valid for 30 calendar days. Due to ongoing supply chain volatility, Lekker Home reserves the right to adjust pricing on expired quotes to account for manufacturer increases or updated tariffs.

Tax Compliance: Sales tax will be charged on all orders delivered to Massachusetts unless a valid, state specific Resale Certificate is on file prior to the final payment. Please reach out to [email protected] to request tax free status on your online purchase.

In Stock and Custom Orders under $10,000: Payment in full is required to initiate procurement.

Orders over $10,000:

• Custom Orders: A 50% non refundable deposit is required to start production. The remaining 50% balance, including shipping and storage fees, is due prior to the item leaving the manufacturer.
• In Stock Orders: Payment in full is required.

Merchant Fees: A 3% transaction fee applies to all credit card payments. This fee is waived for payments made via ACH, Wire Transfer, or Business Check.

Material Disclaimer and Approval: All Customer’s Own Material (COM) or Customer’s Own Leather (COL) must be submitted to the manufacturer for approval to ensure suitability. Testing may be required. Lekker Home assumes no responsibility for the performance, wearability, or safety (including CAL 117 compliance) of any materials supplied by the designer.

COM/COL Liability: For customized orders utilizing COM or COL, Lekker Home and our manufacturing partners are not responsible for the quality, flaws, yield shortages, or durability of the materials provided by the customer. Estimated production lead times do not commence until the manufacturer has physically received, inspected, and approved the COM/COL at their facility.

Overage: The designer is responsible for accurately calculating and purchasing the correct amount of material (yardage), including allowances for patterns and repeats. This material must be shipped Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) at the designer’s expense. Lekker Home will not be held responsible for material shortages.

Non-Cancellable: All Made to Order and Custom pieces are Final Sale.

Cancellation Grace Period: In line with industry standards, a strict 24 hour window from the time of payment to request a modification or cancellation will be enforced. After this window, the order is locked into production and cannot be altered.

Dock to Dock Shipping: Standard Trade shipping is quoted as Dock to Dock to your designated commercial receiver. A loading dock is required for this service level.

The Receiver Clause: If shipping to a third party receiver or warehouse, Lekker Home’s liability for damage ends once the receiver signs the Bill of Lading (BOL).

Third-Party Receivers & Freight Forwarders: We strongly advise trade clients utilizing third-party receiving warehouses to instruct their receivers to open and carefully inspect all items immediately upon arrival. The strict 24-hour window to report freight damage, concealed damage, or order discrepancies begins at the exact time the shipment is signed for by the receiving facility. Lekker Home is not liable for any damage claims made after the 24-hour window, nor are we liable for damages that occur while items are being transported from a third-party receiver to the final installation site.

Storage & Delayed Delivery: If your order is ready for delivery but your residential or project site is not ready to receive it, Lekker Home will hold the items for up to 30 days at no charge. After 30 days, a storage fee of $250 per month, per pallet position will automatically apply and must be paid in full prior to final scheduling. Orders delayed due to customer or job-site unreadiness cannot be canceled or refunded.

Trade Returns: All furniture sales to the Trade are final. Only stocked accessories may be returned within 30 days, subject to a 20% restocking fee calculated based on the amount paid at the time of purchase, along with return shipping costs.

Product Variation: You acknowledge that natural materials (wood, stone, leather) will vary in grain and tone. Such variations are considered marks of authenticity and are not grounds for a defective claim.
