Pollock Arm Chair
Originally manufactured from 1964-79 and reintroduced in 2014, the steel and leather 'sling chair' or '657', as it is commonly referred to, offers a refined combination of materials and finishes. Tubular steel legs connect to cast-aluminum arms and stretchers with exposed hardware, exemplifying Pollock's honest approach to design.

Arms and stretchers are cast aluminum with black painted finish. Legs are tubular steel with polished chrome finish. Seat is pad is urethane cushion with Spinneybeck Portofino or Hand Tipped leather.
- Spinneybeck Belting Leather: 100% vegetable tanned, full grain, aniline dyed leather. The leather is processed in the Santa Croce region of Italy, renowned for its heritage in producing some of the finest quality vegetable tanned leathers.
- Portofino Leather: ifull grain, aniline dyed leather that has a breathable, light protective finish. Its unique tannage and prolonged milling process provide a heavy weight, enlarged grain texture with suppleness unmatched by any other type of leather in its class.
- Hand Tipped Leather: two toned, full grain leather with a pronounced pebble grain. The two toned effect is achieved through the base dye coloration and surface treatment. The tip of the pebble grain is dyed with a dark overtone which is administered by hand. The surface of the leather is further enhanced with a light clear coat application followed with a specialized ironing process.
