The CH445 Wing Chair by Carl Hansen, designed by Hans J. Wegner in 1960, is a stunning blend of sculptural design and exceptional comfort. This fully upholstered armchair rests on a sleek stainless steel frame, combining distinctive lines with a supportive, high-backed design. Beneath the upholstery, a solid beech frame ensures strength and durability while the carefully shaped cushions offer ideal support for the back, shoulders, neck, and head. The slender stainless steel frame features front legs that tilt forward and rear legs extending back to prevent tipping, offering both stability and style. Four small steel cones connect the upper part of the chair to the frame, enhancing its elegance and structure. Relaunched in 2006 by Carl Hansen, this chair is available with the matching CH446 Footstool for added comfort.
