Veng Counter Stool

The Veng Counter Stool from Eikund carries Torbjørn Bekken's sculptural 1960 design into a taller form without losing the character of the original. Organic lines sweep through the oak frame, giving the stool an expressive silhouette that feels almost carved, while the upholstered seat introduces a softer counterpoint to the wood. Originally conceived during Bekken's time at the pioneering Rastad & Relling Tegnekontor, this counter stool reflects a particularly adventurous moment in Norwegian design. Reintroduced by Eikund, the once-forgotten form returns in a counter-height proportion with a choice of oak finishes and richly tactile upholstery.
