Designed in 1952, Fritz Hansen's PK4™ Lounge Chair is modern relaxation distilled to its purest form. Light in appearance yet rich in intention, this iconic Poul Kjærholm design blends steel and flag halyard into a chair that feels as much like a sculpture as it does a place to sit. The structure is beautifully honest. Seven pieces of steel tubing are welded into a unified frame, then wrapped by hand with a single continuous length of flag halyard. The result is a lounge chair that offers natural flexibility and comfort while maintaining a crisp, architectural silhouette. It is minimal without feeling cold and relaxed without losing its edge.
