Butterfly Chair
Released in 1958, the organic lines of L. Ercolani's Butterfly Chair create an intrinsically eye-catching design. With a visually light frame, the seat and back of this chair create a perfect balance and exceptional comfort. This chair features the classic Windsor wedge joint, where the leg of the chair goes right through the seat; a wedge is then inserted into a cut in the leg, forming a remarkably strong joint. Sanded until flush with the seat, the joint provides a beautiful design element.
