Ethnicraft Releases Sculptural Side Table Collection

The successor to the Geometric Side Table is a new collection of like-pieces designed by Ethnicraft designer, Alain van Havre, created from his exploration with geometric shapes and negative space. Every angle creates a different silhouette and aesthetic impact, further illustrating Alain's love for movement. Though each table is unique, they fit together as a cohesive sculptural story, all made from black varnished solid-teak. We can't pick a favorite, but maybe you can help us!
Cove Side Table
Alain van Havre is an in-house designer and has been part of the company since 1999, first working in Operations and now for the past six years in Product Development as one of Ethnicraft's head designers.
Fin Side Table
He's known for combining shapes and layering geometry to use wood in innovative ways. You may know some of his other designs for Ethnicraft like the captivating Mikado Round Dining Table, the Bok Chair, or the new Oscar Office Collection.
Arc Side Table
All the tables are made from Ethnicraft's sustainably harvested FSC-certified wood, which means wood is sourced from ethically managed and protected forests in Indonesia, France, Serbia, and America. Part of this management includes respecting native cultures, ecosystems, and economies, restricting clear-cutting (removing all trees in a particular area), and limiting pesticide use.
Bau Side Table
Speaking of negative space, Ethnicraft even utilizes the sawdust created from their designs for fuel or compressed into shipping pallets. So all the waste from this complex wood carving is going to good use.
