As a Denmark native, Niels Bendtsen was immersed in design and craftsmanship from childhood. After years of working with his father to produce Scandinavian-influenced furniture, Bendtsen recognized the value in making something himself and decided to create Bensen as a stage not only for his own designs but for designers around the world. The Bensen philosophy aims to balance simplicity and honesty so that their designs may continue to grow in today’s ever-changing world. All their pieces are designed in Canada and made in Italy to the highest standards. Lekker Home is proud to be the only Bensen Furniture showroom in New England.
