Part of the ferm LIVING x Utzon – Can Lis collaboration, this cup draws inspiration from architect Jørn Utzon’s iconic family home in Mallorca, merging the natural world with design elements that embody his unique philosophy. Named after the Spanish word for 'flight,' this cup captures the fluidity and grace of Utzon’s bird sketches made during his time at Can Lis. Each cup is expertly crafted from glazed ceramic, showcasing distinct hand-thrown marks that give it a one-of-a-kind artisanal quality. The bird design is brought to life using a traditional batik technique, where wax resists the glaze to form intricate patterns, elevating the cup’s visual and tactile appeal.
