VL Ring Crown Floor Lamp

Elegant geometry and soft illumination define the VL Ring Crown Floor Lamp by Louis Poulsen. Originally created by Danish architect Vilhelm Lauritzen for the historic Radiohuset building in Copenhagen, this design reflects the thoughtful harmony between architecture and light that defined Lauritzen’s work. Part of the celebrated VL Ring Crown Collection, the floor lamp carries forward a design legacy that spans more than eighty years. Its sculptural composition combines polished brass with luminous opal glass to create a presence that feels refined yet effortless. The glowing sphere appears almost weightless as it rests atop the slender stem. The three-layer mouth-blown opal glass softens the illumination into a warm and uniform glow. Light gently spreads through the room while a subtle opening beneath the shade directs illumination downward.
