Eames® Molded Plywood Folding Screen
The Eames® Molded Plywood Folding Screen is an early experiment by Charles and Ray Eames in molding wood that can artfully divide space, serve as an elegant backdrop, or create privacy. Self-supporting and connected with woven polypropylene mesh, the undulating plywood collapses for easy storage or transport. Sandwiching the screen's inner plies between veneers yields sturdy, five-ply molded plywood sections that resist warping and separation. The screen is made of six u-shaped sections, each 10” wide.
Offered in walnut, white ash, and ebony stained ash veneer. Crafted with natural materials, the product will change color with age. Each section is connected by woven polypropylene mesh.
