Radiohus Sofa
Audo Copenhagen
Originally conceived in the 1940s by Danish architect Vilhelm Lauritzen for the Radiohuset building in Copenhagen, the VL45 Radiohus Pendant from Louis Poulsen is a luminous tribute to mid-century elegance. Reintroduced in 2016, this version retains its iconic design: a striking brass suspension paired with a three-layer mouth-blown glass shade. The sophisticated layering includes transparent polished glass on the innermost and outermost layers with a milky-white intermediate layer, creating a luminous glow that’s as classic as it is captivating. But Louis Poulsen didn’t stop there. In 2019, they expanded the range to include a smaller size, offering even more versatility for diverse spaces and styles. And for those who crave a touch of contemporary chic, the pale rose edition introduces a subtle twist with its pale rose, four-layer mouth-blown glass and brushed brass suspension—perfectly blending timeless design with today’s interior trends.
Consists of three layers of mouth-blown glass. The innermost and outermost layers are made of transparent polished glass while white glass is used for the intermediate layer.
