Shipping & Delivery

We provide several levels of delivery service depending on the size, weight and fragility of the item you have ordered and time frame required to assure your items arrive as expected with the greatest amount of care.

Standard Shipping

We offer Standard Shipping for those items that can be delivered via UPS.  Delivery charges are 10% of the order total, starting at $19.99. Items ordered together will not necessarily be shipped together. Additional Delivery charges may apply to items that are too large or bulky to be accommodated by our standard shipping charges.


Please note, UPS is unable to ship to Post Office Boxes.

Orders Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii & U.S. Territories

Orders to Alaska, Hawaii and U.S. Territories, cannot be placed online. Please contact our support team to coordinate shipping.

Orders Shipping Outside of the U.S.

Lekker Home currently does not ship outside of the United States. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Orders Shipping to Remote or Island Locations

A Remote Area Surcharge is applied per delivery when the destination or pick up location is remote. Remote is defined as islands (i.e. Martha’s Vineyard, Nantucket, Block Island, Bainbridge Island, etc.) and highlands (i.e. mountain roads, unpaved routes, narrow passage, etc.); or a post code/zip code that is difficult to serve; or a suburb/town that is distant, inaccessible or infrequently served.

Order Tracking

Standard Shipping orders that ship via UPS will include tracking information within the Shipment Confirmation eMail. For any questions, please contact us at during our business hours. So we can best serve you, please include your name, address, and Order Number with any correspondence.

Freight Delivery

Those items that UPS cannot deliver due to size, weight and/or fragility will ship via Freight Delivery. We offer two levels of service depending on the size, weight and packaging of your item.

Furniture Delivery is currently only available within the contiguous United States.

Doorstep Service - Outside Delivery

Doorstep Delivery, our standard delivery service, offers delivery of your order in its original packaging by one of our third party carriers at your doorstep. Please keep in mind if you live in an apartment and/or condominium complex this delivery option will only deliver your items as far as the front entrance of your building. This service level does not include delivery inside your home, unpacking and/or assembly. To ensure safety during transit, larger items are typically shipped and delivered on a pallet. Please plan accordingly. If you require additional service with the delivery of your purchase we suggest choosing our White Glove Delivery Service option.


Doorstep Delivery Charges

Doorstep delivery charges are 10% of order total, capping at $700.


Doorstep Delivery is not available for all furniture items due to size and weight restrictions.

White Glove Service - Inside Delivery

White Glove Service is our premium delivery option and includes a scheduled appointment from one of our certified white glove delivery teams. The items from your order will be unpacked, assembled if necessary, put in place and all packing materials will be removed. Our White Glove Service teams are not bonded or insured for any wall mounting, structural modifications or electrical work. Please allow an additional 1-4 weeks for delivery with white glove delivery services.

White Glove Delivery Charges

We not only want to offer our customers very competitive White Glove Delivery charges but make it simple. White Glove delivery charges are 10% of order total, with an additional charge of $100. These charges cap at $700.

Preparing for Delivery

Measure Before You Purchase

We want to ensure your new furniture is delivered successfully. There is important measurement and obstruction information to consider before you purchase your furniture. Please refer to our Home Measuring Guide for helpful tips.


It is your responsibility to measure all points of entry carefully before making your purchase to ensure a successful delivery. Furniture that does not fit at the time of delivery is subject to the terms outlined in our Returns & Exchanges Policy.Additional delivery fees may be incurred if return trips are needed or if you cancel or reschedule your delivery appointment the day of. If the delivery team cannot access your space through a doorway, staircase, hallway or elevator, you are responsible for arranging additional services. Our delivery team cannot place products into your home through a window or other unconventional points of entry.


Special Requirements

Please inform our Design Associates of any special requirements at the time of purchase, such as steep or narrow roads and driveways, private gated access, or multiple flights of stairs. Our delivery team can accommodate carrying furniture up 1 flight of stairs. There is a $50 fee for each additional flight.


Apartment/Condominium Dwellers

If your building has a freight elevator, please reserve it in advance. Additionally, If your building requires a Certificate of Insurance (COI) for deliveries, please ensure that you have provided all of the necessary information to your sales consultant beforehand. There is a $35 fee for providing a COI.


During delivery, please inspect your furniture thoroughly and report any manufacturer's defect or damage to the delivery team to resolve your claim as quickly as possible. Please refer to Returns & Exchanges for further details.

What to Expect

We use an exclusive network of delivery partners for our delivery services depending on your location. Once your order is received and inspected at the local  warehouse, our delivery team will contact you to make delivery arrangements.

Please note that our delivery team is not permitted or insured for wall mounting, structural modifications, electrical work, disposing or moving of existing furniture - this includes moving furniture out of the way for rug deliveries. Before our delivery team arrives, prepare your home by doing the following:


  • Remove doors or handrails  if necessary
  • Move existing furniture and set rugs in place
  • Secure low-hanging light fixtures
  • Remove pictures or artwork
  • Secure pets in another room


Please thoroughly inspect your furniture before our delivery team leaves your home to help resolve your claim as quickly as possible. Please refer to our Returns & Exchanges for further details.
