Originally released in 1933, designer Kaare Klint drew inspiration from a British officer's chair he'd seen in a travel guide to create the Safari Chair. The first models of this chair were sold to colleagues such as Arne Jacobsen, who saw clear possibilities in the simple and functional style. Being one of the world's first "build-it-yourself" furniture pieces, it can be easily assembled and disassembled without tools.
