Nelson™ Pear Tripod Lamp

The Nelson™ Pear Tripod Lamp balances the softly curved form of George Nelson's shade on a slender three-legged base. Designed in 1952, its translucent polymer shade is formed over a lightweight steel framework using a technique inspired by the process once used by the U.S. Navy to preserve ships. The delicate structure remains visible beneath the surface, giving the organic shade added dimension while diffusing light into a warm, even glow. Available in two sizes, this lamp brings sculptural form and ambient illumination to side tables, consoles, nightstands, and other interior spaces.
